Happy 10 Months!

Today I turned 10 months old!

(and you know what that means...Mamarazzi had a photo shoot!)

I've learned a lot in the past month. I can now get up into a sitting position all by myself. I also like to be on my hands and knees and rock back and forth. I can crawl but get frustrated after a little while and do the 'worm' instead!

I surprised everyone the other day when I showed that I am able to pull myself up using my activity table and gate. It's a lot of fun and I practice all the time!

Here. Let me show you how it's done...

First, you need to get close enough to the gate so it's easier to hold onto:

Then grab onto the gate and slowly pull yourself up...

Viola! See how easy that was?

Oh...don't forget to turn and give your mommy a cute face to photograph. She will not only take your picture but she will clap and say, "yay! you are such a big girl!!". It's exciting stuff.

So exciting that you might just drop your nuk. No worries....

....just bend down and pick it back up!

Got it?....piece of cake, right?! Now let's cruise!!

Mommy and Daddy are amazed how strong I've become in the past month. I'm not going to let being petite stop me from doing what I want to do...just check out what I did today!

Darnitt the Vimeo wasn't showing up, so I'll have to come back later to watch it.

Happy 10 months kara! you ARe such a big girl - and growing and learning so quickly!! I think Preston is going to be the LAST to crawl out of all ofour mommy bloggers. LOL

I'm thinking we might need to invest in some of those gates too soon.

Yay I got the vimeo to work!

Kara you are such an entertainer! I was thoroughly enjoying that video! LOL Oh wow...she is so cute. I love her pigtails. Andt he part where she falls down - the look on her face is priceless!

Preston has been doing this thing lately where if he falls over he wines or cries. I don't know if he is even raelly all that hurt, but I think he thinks he is supposed to always cry when that happens. Maybe we need to stop running to his aide everytime so he won't think it is that serious. LOL

Although today he was playing our grand piano and he pulled the lid down and slammed his fingers. :( THAT did hurt and he got some loves from Mommy...a VERY guilty and sorry mommy. I had his chair up to high so he could reach the piano lid. Ugh my heart could break. :( All day long I've been checking his fingers to make sure they haven't turned black and blue (for breaks or sprains).

Oh my goodness she's adorable. I'll have to watch the video at home...they don't allow it here at work:( Little Kara is beautiful...it's crazy how much she reminds me of you...she's a mini you ahahahah. I don't know if that's good or bad...think you can parent you??? LOL. I know I'm doomed with my girls if they end up like me.

What a fabulous post!!

She's absolutely beautiful, and you can just see all the personality she has bursting from her little body.

I really miss having babies around sometimes...

Wow! I can't believe Kara. I'm glad she hasn't taught my little one how to stand. kailey is a crawling machine, but she doesn't do a lot of standing yet. Just a lot of sitting.

I got tired of the look of my blog so you may see it change quite a bit as I tried to find a new identity.

It is confirmed. My darling little Kara is brilliant. She can escape anything.

(And yes. I did use the word, my Kara. Being Auntie (internet) Fran, I like to take certain liberties!)
