I'll HUFF and I'll PUFF and I'll....

...blow your grill over!

Yes, folks. That's a picture of our awesome grill that Chris' co-workers got us as a wedding gift back in 2004. It is Chris' pride and joy...or shall I say...was his pride and joy.

Is it just me or do you find it crazy how strong that wind must have been to just pick up this grill and knock it down like it did? It looks like a mini tornado caused this damage!

Chris found the grill this morning and when he picked it back up, he noticed that the lid had broken off. Great. Just what we need...another thing to fix or replace. We just bought the new washer and had to shell out hundreds of dollars to get the truck fixed so it would pass inspection...now this.

We live in a wind tunnel.

Chris makes fun of me when I say this but it's true. In the almost 4 years that we've called this place home, our grill has been knocked over by the wind several times. We also have problems with our shingles flying off the roof causing my husband to risk his life to fix them. Twice in the past six months our fireplace (piece of crap that we don't use) cap has flown off too. As I type this, it sounds like the wind is about to come screaming through our walls. It's ridiculous and extremely annoying. Can you tell what kind of day I am having so far?

If this saying is correct, "Everything Comes In Threes", then our luck should change soon, right? Gosh I hope so...

In other news... I have so many posts to create but no time or energy to create them. I finally picked and uploaded the Christmas pictures I want to use for part four of our Holiday Review. Now I just have to write something clever to go with them. I know how much you all love my cleverness. So look for some clever posts coming soon...hopefully sooner then later.

Wow,I can't believe the wind tipped that sucker over. Well, yes I can. We get some pretty bad winter wind storms here. That is crazy!

I'm with Jenni. Your new header is fabulous. Perfect for this time of year. Why worry about posts when you look fabulous? I say, as long as you have your Christmas 2008 update done before Thanksgiving 2009, you'll be in great shape!

Happy Valentine's!

PS: I would be ever so grateful if you could uproot your entire life and move to SF to be my play date pal. It would so be worth it! Just think of the fun times we could have. :)

So sorry about the grill. I didn't expect that when I saw the title. Good tease...

I know what you mean about your grill! I've got...well, had, two bird feeders that are no more from the wind. One was cast iron that tipped over and the stand broke and the other was cement! Guess what I'm getting for Mother's Day! =o)
Love reading your blogs...I miss you!
