Our new life together seemed to hit the fast lane after arriving home from our beautiful two week (much deserved!) honeymoon in breathtaking Hawaii. We celebrated our 1st anniversary moving into our new home and a few months later welcomed our first born, Ryan Christian. We were now a family. Oh what joy he brought to our lives! So much joy and happiness, that we decided to add to our family. A few months ago, we brought home our beautiful baby girl, Kara Ellasyn. Each day we look into our children's eyes, we are reminded of this special day and our love we have for one another. It only grows stronger as the years go by.
To quote the anniversary (Hallmark) card I gave you this morning...
Those marriage vows? We meant them.
Life's ups and downs? We've lived them.
The rest of forever? To be continued, with love.
We have been through a lot in the past four years (most within the first year of our marriage), but it has only made our marriage stronger. I love the life we've built, the family we created through our love and most of all I love you! I can't wait to see what the future holds for us and our family.
I couldn't imagine walking this journey with anyone else.
You are the love of my life!

Those are beautiful pictures! I'm happy that you guys found each other and are soul mates! Happy anniversary to you! :)
Awe happy anniverary you guys! I loved reading a little about your story and especially seeing pictures. Of course I'm such a sucker for wedding photos. Sometimes I browse photographer's websites just to look at the beautiful wedding photos. If you ever want to see our photos, its on our Sleepless in Seattle blog archived in March of 2005.
Are you guys planning to do anything special tonight or this weekend to celebrate?
Happy Anniversary Bobbi! Wow - I can still remember the day you rushed into the E@E office to show me your ring and tell me your engagement story. I can't believe it's been 4 years already! Wow - what a 4 years it's been!! Congratulations to you and Chris!
First, thanks for the anniversary wishes everyone!
Jenni- sadly we did not plan anything for this anniversary. :(
We were invited to attend a end of the summer picnic at Ryan's old school. Chris had to work late so I took the kids the picnic. It was a lot of fun...just wish Chris could have been there too.
We hope to sneak away on a special vacation for our 5th next year...it will be our first vacation without kids since our honeymoon!! Can't wait!
I love browsing photographer websites too and looking at the wedding and now baby photos!!
Our photographer was Martin Miller (we plan to use him for family portraits in the future). Check him out at http://www.photobymiller.com
If you click on wedding portraits and gallery, we are on his site...it is the 2nd to last page...like 4th one over. He has it set up on a film strip...and it was a candid set that we took outside our church. Chris kissed my neck and made me giggle...Martie said just go with it and started to snap away. It was fun and he used our photos for advertising after that. I felt so special. :)
We leave tomorrow for a much needed mini vaca at the lake! Get home next Wed. night. My in-laws will be with us so hopefully we will get some alone time even if we have to steal the boat and cruise the lake!!! Can't wait for some R&R. Sadly no internet service so I will have to catch up with everyone late next week!
Have a great weekend everyone! :)
Happy Anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!!!
